Valley Forge Real Estate (19496) and Community Information

The Village of Valley Forge is located on the west side of Valley Forge National Historical Park near the Schuylkill River. The remaining village is in Schuylkill Township of Chester County. Valley Forge is often referred to anywhere in the general vicinity of the park, and many places actually in King of Prussia, Trooper, Oaks, and other nearby communities will use the name, leading to some ambiguity on the actual location of the modern village. Valley Forge is known by travelers in the Philadelphia area as the westbound control city on Interstate 76 (the Schuylkill Expressway), as it is near where I-76 joins the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

There are many private institutions located on the Main Line for PK-12 education; for a Roman Catholic education there is St. Katherine of Siena School, Archbishop John Carroll High School, Villa Maria Academy for Girls, Devon Prep and Malvern Prep. The Episcopal Academy is a private PK-12 institution located nearby in Newtown Square; and The Valley Forge Military Academy.

If you are looking for a nationally recognized college or university, the Main Line is home to many institutions that are renowned for their academic excellence. Valley Forge Military Academy and College, is two-year college prep school, for both young women and men. Villanova University is the oldest and largest Catholic university in Pennsylvania and is located in the heart of the Main Line.
